About the Role:
Funga is hiring a Land Program Agreement Specialist to manage the operational and communications “bridge” between our land enrollment efforts and executed partnerships. While our Enrollment Specialists focus on the initial handshake, you will be responsible for the critical phase that follows: guiding landowners through the complexities of our Carbon, Field Trial, and Soil Sampling agreements.
This role requires a unique blend of administrative rigor and high-touch communication. You will spend a significant portion of your time engaging directly with landowners via email and phone - answering questions about contract terms, keeping land partners interested and engaged, and ensuring all parties stay aligned through to execution. You are the organized, friendly, and persistent voice that ensures our forest projects move from “handshake” to “active”.

Maintain Data Integrity: Update and manage our CRM and contract databases (e.g. HubSpot, DocuSign) to provide real-time visibility into the enrollment pipeline.
Operational Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve friction points in the landowner experience to make the contracting process as seamless and fast as possible.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with Funga’s Operations team and external counsel to troubleshoot issues that fall outside of our standard agreements, ensuring proactive resolution.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative and logistical support to the Growth and Field teams to ensure smooth operations during peak planting and sampling seasons.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
3+ years of experience in a role that combines administrative operations with high-volume external communication (e.g. Paralegal, Closing Coordinator, Project Admin, or Sales Operations).
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex contract language into layman’s terms for landowners while maintaining a professional and helpful tone.
Persistent follow-through; you enjoy the “chase” of closing out pending tasks and have a knack for professional persistence when following up on unsigned documents.
Technical savvy and proficiency with contract generation and management platforms (DocuSign/PandaDocs) and CRM tools (HubSpot). Direct experience with property titles, deeds, or timber deeds is a significant plus.
Organizational excellence; you can manage dozens of simultaneous “work-in-progress” contracts without letting any details slip through the cracks.
Passionate about forestry, climate change, or regenerative land management.
Please apply if you feel you are qualified, but don’t necessarily meet all of the above criteria!

A new wave of geospatial data from satellites and terrestrial sensors is transforming our understanding of earth systems. This data will underpin many of the solutions to global challenges like climate change.
At Earthscale.ai we believe there’s a missing layer of software infrastructure needed to build products from geospatial data. It’s also a bottleneck for the development of more advanced geospatial AI systems that could help us understand and respond to our planet’s changes. To fill this gap, we’re building developer tools that help scientists analyze complex data and empower engineering teams to turn those insights into real-world applications. We envision a future where advanced geospatial AI drives solutions in agriculture, insurance, energy, and infrastructure.
You’ll be joining a small team working on challenging software problems - from large-scale distributed data processing to shiny React components. You’ll have a high degree of ownership and freedom over feature design and implementation. We mostly work in Python and TypeScript.
The role is based in the U.S., and we expect to travel to meet in person a few times a year.
Compensation is $120,000 - $180,000 USD depending on geography, skill set, and experience. We offer genuine equity, strong healthcare options, and flexible PTO. Additional benefits are being built depending on what matters most to you and the team!
We’re looking for people who are excited to build beautiful products, enjoy tinkering, and have a strong grasp of how computers work. You should have a deep understanding of the systems and tools you work with. Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional software engineering experience. Geospatial knowledge is a plus but not required. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where requirements evolve quickly based on feedback and discovery.
We’re currently a team of four: three co-founders and one founding engineer. The founding team worked together closely for several years at a previous climate-tech company. We all have technical backgrounds in geospatial data engineering and AI, and we’ve collaborated with analysts and scientists for years. Our past work includes work at Pachama, Blackshark.ai, and OpenAI. We’re also lucky to have great advisors, investors, and founder friends supporting us.
We started Earthscale in May 2024 after spending about six months exploring the market, testing product hypotheses, and talking with over 100 people in discovery.
After identifying key pain points and securing interest from design partners, we raised a pre-seed round that gives us several years of runway to build something ambitious.
We now have strong commercial traction, with paying customers using our software in both production systems and R&D environments.
